With the sun shining, and the racing stars out in force, the WorldSBK family raised a staggering £11,570, at this year's Paddock Show.
Two Wheels for Life returned to the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at Donington Park on Saturday 6th July for the fourth annual charity auction and rider concert.
Our biggest crowd yet gathered at the stage to enjoy the Paddock Show, hosted by Michael Hill. World Superbike Champions Jonathan Rea, Leon Haslam, Ana Carrasco and Chaz Davies all took to the stage to auction their items, raising a staggering £11,570 in support of the programmes in Africa that enable healthcare to reach rural communities with reliable transport systems.
Fans had the opportunity to bid on exclusive racing memorabilia and unique experience’s kindly donated by the riders and teams, including the ultimate race weekend experience in Portimao with the MPM WILSport Racedays team, including accommodation. With the experience in great demand, the team kindly offered a second package raising an incredible £2,850. The evening came to a close with the fantastic CIA Landlord Insurance charity concert.
Founder of Two Wheels for Life, Andrea Coleman says “Two Wheels for Life are proud to work with WorldSBK and Donington Park each year at the British round of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. The continued support from WorldSBK, the teams, riders and loyal fans is truly changing lives in Africa. No other sport supports a humanitarian project in the same way that the motorcycling sporting world does.”
The projects we support mean that health workers can reach the most isolated people with the health care they so desperately need.
Together we can show that Two Wheels save lives.
